Our Glendale office is looking for a Senior Technical Director with previous experience in themed entertainment and permanent installations for rides, shows and attractions.  The ideal candidate would work in collaboration with our project team and lead the technical team and technical design effort on a variety of projects.

The Senior Technical Director would provide the technical support required to integrate each show or attraction including design development and implementation on a variety of disciplines (i.e., show set, audio, video, projection, show control, ride systems, special effects, lighting, show mechanical systems and media production). 

Job Duties Include:

• Work with team to define the goals of the technical design package.

• Coordinate with each disciplines designer to ensure the technical design meets the creative intent.

• Interface daily with Technical Coordinators, Project Managers, Show Producers, etc.

What do we require from you:

The preferred candidate should have a strong technical / operational background in themed entertainment.  A Bachelor’s Degree in technical theatre or a related field is highly preferred. 

Working technical knowledge and skills to oversee a wide range of performance methods associated with permanent installations for rides, shows and attractions. Must be familiar with design, stage management, sound, video and lighting systems. Candidate should have an understanding of Ride Systems and integration. Mechanical Engineering familiarity is a plus.

Candidate should understand the different phases of project development and information management.

Must be able to work independently with little direction as well as direct discipline-specific designers to assemble an integrated design package.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to multi-task; must be able to constantly and consistently prioritize workload of senior executives and oneself simultaneously.

Must be able to handle themselves professionally as candidate will have direct interaction with many of our clients.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Our Glendale office is looking for a Project Manager with previous experience in themed entertainment and permanent installations for rides, shows and attractions.  The ideal candidate would work in collaboration with our project team and lead the team on a variety of projects.

The Project Manager would be responsible for monitoring a project’s time, scope and budget. Candidate would interface with Creative, Technical and other disciplines to ensure that the project stays on track and the delivery schedule is met.

Candidate should have a minimum 3 years of experience managing theme park production including custom fabrication, technical documentation and large attractions.

There is potential travel in this position.

Job Duties Include:

• Interface daily with Technical, Creative and Production teams.

• Coordinate with each discipline’s designer to ensure the project meets the creative intent.

• Marshall the team in planning and preparing the final deliverable packages.

• Serve as the primary driving force moving the project forward.
